Great pie shop. Great selection of pies that caters for all tastes. Meat, vegetarians and vegans. Good portions and tasty side orders. High quality foods and good value. Also served proper teas in teapots. Friendly staff. Highly recommended place to eat.
Was a little cool at first but the staff soon warmed it up. Had the Steak and Kidney. Delicious tender meat with all the trimmings. Will definitely return.

We recently tried a selection of pies and were overall very pleased with the experience. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and it was fun to compare our favorites. Personally, I absolutely loved the Stilton pie—the rich, tangy cheese was perfectly balanced with the savory filling, making it the standout for me. My partner, on the other hand, really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka pie. It had a lovely depth of flavor, with just the right amount of spice and a creamy, comforting texture that made it really satisfying. The Steak pie, while hearty and well-seasoned, had a noticeably strong onion presence that, for my taste, slightly overpowered the rest of the filling. If you're a big fan of onions, it might be right up your alley, but it wasn’t quite to my liking. Overall, though, the quality of the pies was excellent, and we’d definitely try more from the range in the future.
Visited for lunch with mate. I had the mothership Kate & Sidney pie. Even though this is only a standard steak and kidney pie it was absolutely amazing, very tasty. It came on a bed of mashed potato, peas, and gravy. I have to say it's a bit pricey (12 odd per dish) we paid just over 24 but it was very nice. Would I go again? Yeah absolutely, if I'm flush.
Great little place for a decent pie with mash and peas. Not massive portions, but big enough to fill a hole. Very quick service too. Pie and mash starts at a tenner then you can add more if you like.
Just had a really nice lunch here. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the tables were really clean. The pie was an absolute treat. We will return!
A great proper pie. We had the Motherships. Fungi Chicken and Moo. Tasty, creamy mast, minted mushy peas. Good price. Lovely service. Nice atmosphere. Nice very filling lunch on a colder spring day.
